Then he was off to with some leaders and the other boys his age from the ward to go on High Adventure camp.
He has returned. He has been telling us all about his adventures and it sounds like he had a lot of fun.
As you can see from these pictures, he also got REALLY burned.
The one red spot is where, while caving, he was punctured by a rock.
He has huge blisters from his burns.
I can say that I don't know if I have ever seen burns this bad.......that were done on purpose.
In the picture of just the one leg, you can see that to the right and down from the puncture wound is looks all bubbly and weird, those are blisters.
Aaahhhhhhh!
At least he came back in one piece.
He says that he loved the kayaking. The the caving and all the rest were great too.
They tried a couple of days to catch some fish, but only 3 were caught.
Too bad they didn't have the champion fisher of all time, Mel Cummins (my dad)with them!!!!

That's... DISGUSTING!!!
The only burn I've seen that bad was when my brother-in-law, Mike, burned his bald head to a crisp. He then bought a hat and lined it with tissues to absorb all of the pus, which he frequently had to change.
Does it hurt as bad as it looks? The burn I had recently didn't look nearly as bad as that, but it was pure agony because of the pain and itching.
it does in fact hurt as bad as it looks, i have so much stuff in me and on me that i can't hardly feel a thing.
