Then up the stairs

This is taken from halfway up the stairs. The rail that goes from the middle of the stairs to the top was removed so the people who moved out could haul things down and out easier. It made it nice for us to, but some of the parts got lost somehow, so it hasn't been put back up yet.

As you come up the stairs, Zuzu and Kricket are usually there to greet you. The door to our bedroom is on the left.

From the top of the stairs. The sliding glass door is in the back and the kitchen to the right. As you can see in some of these pictures, it has a nice vaulted ceiling. There are all kinds of hooks in the beams and above the rail for the stairs. I can’t wait to have some plants to hang on them! It would also be cool to have some plants that hang down from the top of the wall that divides the kitchen from the front room area.

The Kitchen.
It’s not bad, but it has it’s quirks. We just got a new end for the faucet, so it doesn’t spray all over. You have to push the oven door in if you want to open the dishwasher. But ,hey, at least we have a dishwasher!
I’m sure you can also see the dishes on the counter. With everyone coming down with fevers, swollen glands and such, not many of us are feeling our best, but it’s actually been nice around here.

This is the dining room. It's a good size and our big table fits nicely. It sits in front of 3 of the big windows.

I love the vaulted ceilings. Besides the one ceiling fan that hangs over the couch/TV area, we have a swamp cooler that is to the right of the windows in this picture.

You can see the cupboard, I used to use for home-school stuff. We brought it over from the storage unit so I can use it for a pantry. We have a lot of cupboards in the kitchen, but the biggest ones are awkward and hard to fit things into because the doors are too slim.

Here is our master suite. It's pretty nice. We have two big windows across most of the back wall.

Here is where we have the computer set up. It will be better when we have our computer desk that is still in UT. Next to that is the door to the bathroom.

Our bathroom is really nice. It has two sinks, a nice sized shower and even room for our love seat bench. We also have a big/tall linen closet and it is very deep. Always handy!
